Abstract
This study examined the effects of activated (e.g. aroused) and deactivated affect (e.g. quiet) dimensions which derived from core affect structure (Russell and Barrett,1998) on workplace decision quality, and trait emotional stability served as moderator. The study applied ten consecutive daily diary method, with 61 participants from Taiwan and Mongolia. Results showed that activated and deactivated affect both positively related to decision quality. Also, Moderation effect of emotional stability was found significant and positive influenced on relation of deactivated affect, but not for activated affect. This study’s implications and further studied are discussed.
