本文之目的在於藉由1、滕尼斯對現代社會的勾勒2、多數社會學理論所忽略的霍布斯式個體，重建霍布斯-滕尼斯體系，所構成出的社會存有論與其可能具有的經驗形式。值此，本論文分為四個部分，在第二章中，筆者試圖證明涂爾幹－帕森斯的理論體系，其基礎建立在黑格爾式的社會存有論之上，而這個存有論的特徵，正是兩者提出「霍布斯的社會秩序問題」，以及反對霍布斯的真正理由。在第三章中，筆者要重建滕尼斯對於社會結社的論述，並由此指出，滕尼斯的社會結社－選擇意志，建立在一個以霍布斯式個體存有為前提的基礎上。這項前提，開啟了第四章的兩個問題，亦即，如何從霍布斯體系的角度回答：「社會結社下的交換關係如何可能？」、「社會結社下的共同體如何可能？」，順此，在第四章中，本文試圖證明，以霍布斯的個體慾望為基礎的現代人，能夠適切地開展出利己的交換關係、與利他的群體。在第五章中，我們要藉由第四章的思想史根據，重新以剝離了古代共同體的個體激情，理解滕尼斯的公共輿論、以及公共輿論所開啟的現代共同體。藉由各章的論述與重建，本文將呈現，在思想與社會存有論的層次上，霍布斯－滕尼斯典範，勾勒出了流動且液態的現代共同體；在社會結構的層次上，霍布斯－滕尼斯典範的意義，則在於若我們從社會關係(social relationship)的視角來看待社會結構，那麼，社會學研究就有必要重視個人層級的激情與慾望。

According to outline concept of Ferdinand Tönnies’s gesellschaft and the
Hobbesian individual ignored by most common sociological theories, this thesis
tries to reconstruct the social ontology　and the empirical matter of Hobbes- Tönnies’s system For this purpose, this thesis have four parts. In chapter two, I try to justify the theoretical systems of Durkheim-Parsons are established by social ontology of Hegelian. This is a reason why “the problem of social order in Hobbes” and “the anti-Hobbes tendency” appear in the writings of Durkheim-Parsons. In chapter three, I try to reconstruct the concept of gesellschaft and point out Tönnies’s gesellschaft which is based on the Hobbesian individual. Simultaneously, there are arised two problem of chapter four. In other words, how could we response two problem with perspective of Hobbes’ system,
“ how could exchange relationship is possible in gesellschaft?” “ How could
the community is possible in gesellschaft?” In chapter five, I try to reconstruct Tönnies’s ”the publc opinion” and the public opinion of modern community with evidence from history of thought which connected to individual passion estranged from ancient community. On these gourds, this thesis will present the paradigm of Hobbes-Tönnies’s system could build the community with liquid form in the perspective of social ontology and the paradigm of Hobbes-Tönnies’system also justify sociology must pay attention to individual passion in the perspective of social structure.
