Abstract |
Nowadays, how to well mange the worker relations with the workplace has gradually become a significant issue for the employees in their daily life. Some employees are born to maintain the good relationship with other; however, some are not. Emotional intelligent employees tend to be considered good at dealing with worker relations in workplace. In addition, employees with high level of political skill are viewed expert in maintaining relationship with others as well. Therefore, in present study, we conduct the research on the relationship among emotional intelligence, political skill, and worker relations. 120 valid questionnaires are collected for the research. The results indicate that emotional intelligence is positive related to political skill and supervisor component of worker relations; political skill is positively related to supervisor component of worker relations. Besides, political skill will fully mediate the relationship between emotional intelligence and supervisor component of worker relations. In addition, the theoretical contributions and managerial implications are discussed in this study for the future research. |
