金融科技的快速發展下,對銀行業務造成巨大的衝擊,也因此Brett King相繼提出Bank3.0(2013)、Bank 4.0(2018)等銀行轉型概念。本研究透過資料蒐集發現國內銀行在推動數位化轉型時所著重的方法各有不同,例如生物辨識、資料分析、人工智慧等。因此本研究藉由訪談銀行高階主管,瞭解目前國內銀行在推動數位化轉型時,各家銀行著重發展不同的背景因素,此外還有推動數位化轉型時的障礙和解決方法、所帶來的影響以及對於未來發展的方向。本研究藉由訪談多家銀行形成多個案進行比較與分析,整理結論如下:
(一) 銀行背景是否為公股銀行是影響推動數位化轉型時,產生不同策略最重要的因素。
(二) 銀行內部的高階主管對於資訊科技的認知、經驗和個人特質等會影響全體行員對於推動數位化轉型的認同感,也是導致發展策略不同的原因。
(三) 各家銀行在推動數位化轉型時所面臨最大的障礙皆為「產業特性」的因素,因為銀行是需要高度監管的產業,所以法規成為轉型最大的障礙。
本研究根據多個案的研究後發現,國內銀行正朝著Bank3.0、Bank4.0推動數位化轉型,為銀行所帶來的效益包括用戶數以及整體競爭力的提升,但是以實際獲利情況來看並未有明顯的影響,因此仍有很長的一段發展空間。而短期內國內銀行將先會以Open Banking為發展的重心,思考如何開放銀行資料並結合其他產業提供顧客更多元、完善的金融服務。
Abstract
Due to the rapid development of Fintech brings a critical impact to bank business, Brett King(2013; 2018) proposed ideas of Bank transformation concept like Bank3.0 and Bank 4.0.
Through data collecting, this study finds that domestic banks have different methods for promoting digital transformation, such as biometric identification, data analysis, and artificial intelligence. Therefor, this paper, by interviewing senior bank executives, wants to understand what are the affecting factors of difference banks promote difference transformation strategies, as well as the obstacles and solution to the digital transformation and the direction of future development. This study compares and analyzes multiple cases by interviewing multiple banks, and collates the conclusions as follows:
(1) Whether the background of the bank is a public stock is the most important factor in generating different strategies when it comes to promoting digital transformation.
(2) The high-level supervisors within the bank's perception, experience and personal traits of information technology will affect the sense of identity of all staff members in promoting digital transformation, which is also the reason for the different development strategies.
(3) The biggest obstacles faced by banks in promoting digital transformation are the factors of “industrial characteristics”. Because banks are high supervision industries, regulations have become the biggest obstacle to transformation.
Based on the analyzing of case study, this study found that domestic banks are promoting the digital transformation to Bank3.0 and Bank 4.0. The benefits include the number of users and the overall competitiveness, but the actual profit is still not obviously. In the short term, domestic banks will first focus on the development of Open Banking, thinking about how to release the open data and provide customers with more complete and personalize financial services in combination with other industries.
