Abstract |
The current paper focuses on innovative technology in the field of mobile applications which leads to a comprehensive proposal of Eventons – event mobile application that is being developed and introduced. The application integrates dislocated elements of the current event participation and brings it into one complex software. The proposal builds on this idea in order to become the only needed tool during the event participation. However, only theoretical parts of the app are being discussed which serves as a base for future improvements and further development of the product. The first part of the paper discusses design and design process relevance, as well as what role it plays in the creation of a successful and well-structured software. The intention behind it is to provide a real value to Hamastar Technology Company who was the initiator of the idea for the innovative event mobile application. The ethnographic research methods allowed to explore and discover problems that event participants face when attending various happenings. The observations lead to conclusions which were transformed into precise technological solutions and application functions. The last part of the work also serves as its core. It introduces the event mobile application and its functions that are going to revolutionize Taiwanese event industry by increasing participants’ engagement in the event and its added value to the event experience. |
