  • Abstract Europe and the United States to take in 2008 after the Lehman brother event bold monetary easing measures , but stick to the relatively conservative Japanese monetary policy, leading to rising Yen currency . After Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe took office, launched a substantial monetary easing measures to make the Yen hit a 34-year maximum depreciation in 2013 .
    Taiwan's machine tool industry in the international market with the Japanese industry competitors , in addition to Taiwan's auto industry more important parts such as engines imported from Japan . These two industries may be the most influential Japanese Yen exchange rate .
    This paper attempts to investigate the effects of fluctuations in the period 2006 to 2014 the exchange rate of the Japanese Yen sales to Taiwan machine tool and automotive industries , prices, costs , and profits.
