||Thanks to 4G wireless communication technology, people can use the intelligent device anywhere on the network roaming, and enjoy high transmission rate of service. 5G communication architecture will be able to simultaneously deal with different kinds of services. How to use a single infrastructure to provide a flexible, fast build, high resource scalability, and the ability to integrate heterogeneous network architecture is an important issue. In addition, how to reduce the cost of building the system is also worth of study.|
In view of this, this thesis focuses on the use of open source software to implement a network slice architecture based on 5G white paper. This architecture can provide the functionality of network slicing by means of cloud computing, software definition network (SDN), and network functional virtualization (NFV). Through the integration of OpenStack, Docker, OpenAirInterface (OAI), commercial small cell base stations, and virtual private network one can build a 5G platform. Besides, this thesis uses in-house social communication software, video streaming and face detection, and the control of drone to verify the feasibility of the 5G system.
