Abstract |
This thesis discusses the channel effects of a visible light communication system on signal performance, when carrier-less amplitude phase (CAP) or orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) modulation scheme is employed. To mitigate the channel effects and interference, which is mainly caused by an LED, this thesis applies linear and Volterra equalizer to equalize the signals, and studies the effects of the filter parameters on the visible light communication system. |
