It is advantageous to reduce the carbon dioxide emissions by improving the efficiency of the iron ore sintering process. This study mainly improves the flue gas circulation system in iron ore sintering process, by developing the flue gas circulation model and the full scale three dimensional iron ore sintering model. First, we analyze the two dimensional flue gas circulation model, preliminarily discuss the leaking problem of the FGC system, furthermore, discuss the three dimensional effect in three dimensional flue gas circulation model in order to improve and solve the leaking problem of the iron ore sintering process with FGC system. Second, we build the full scale three dimensional iron ore sintering model which consider the conservation equation of mass, momentum, energy and species, including the water evaporation and condensation within the fine coke combustion heat release.
