  • Abstract In this study, we researched optoelectronic properties of polymer-dispersed blue-phase liquid-crystal(PDBPLC) gratings.The experimental result shows that we could get the best optoelectronic properties with the followed conditions: concentration about 60%,pitch of grating with 30μm,power of UV spot with 15mW and curing for 40 minutes.The optoelectronic properties include diffraction effeciency,response time and polarization independence.Concentration of polymer effect the result of curing.The pitch of grating was too wide to complete the process of phase seperation.The shape of gratings wouldn’t be perfect if the curing time wasn’t long enough.All these reasons effect the diffraction effeciency of gratings.However,we could maintain the response time in sub millisecond with any condition.We actually use a low-costed,simple fabricated way to gain a PDBPLC gratings.
