  • Abstract This thesis adopts a grid-connected excited synchronous wind power generator system, which simplifies the framework of wind power system and also improves the efficiency of wind power system. This system uses coupling to connect the wind power, excited synchronous generator, and servo motor in a coaxial framework. This thesis proposes a synchronization control strategy, and uses this strategy with servo motor control of the servo motor to realize position control of the system rotating axis, the maintenance of system rotating velocity and frequency of generator voltage, the synchronization of the phases of the grid voltage and the generator voltage, and grid connection of the system. A power factor correction strategy is proposed to improve the power factor of the system when connecting to the grid. According to the result of the simulation and the experiment, the synchronization control and power factor correction strategy can make the system connect to the grid without having serious power disturbance, and improve the power factor of the system The power factor can achieve 0.984 or be better.
