  • Abstract There are innumerable conferences held around the world every day, traditional
conference relies on paper, attendees talk to each other face to face in the closed
meeting room. There are several main problems of traditional conference, including
cumbersome of preparation work, waste of resource, lack of space flexibility, low
    quality and inefficient.
Based on the survey of existing systems, we proposed a paperless conference
system that combines several trends of modern conference such as paperless, BYOD,
wireless network and cloud computing. The system architecture is divided into three
modules: cloud management module, multi-party interactive module and video
streaming module. Cloud management module integrates Google cloud resources into
the system; Multi-party interactive module is responsible for real-time interaction
among attendees; Video streaming module provides one-to-one, one-to-many and
many-to-many streaming services. Under the practical evaluation, the proposed
system can meet the most requirements of the cloud based paperless conference.
