  • Abstract Ecotourism is a concept that is getting more and more attention around the world. Wetlands have many functions and values, and also have a great potential for ecotourism. Wetland ecotourism is considered an effective way to use and manage wetland sustainably. At the same time, the assessment and management of the wetland resource by ecotourism has gradually increased worldwide.
      In this study, we use literature reviews and the Delphi method to build a framework for the “Assessment of satisfaction for the wetland ecotourism resource”. We further use the DEMATEL-based Analytic Network Process (DANP) method to calculate the weights of the indicators, and an “Influence Network Relation Map” to find out the importance and causality of the indicators. Next, we collected tourists’ questionnaires at ChiKu wetland to get grades of satisfaction for the wetland ecotourism resource. Finally, in the view of our results, we provide the wetland management department with suggestions for the sustainable management of the ChiKu wetland.
      The average score of tourist satisfication of ChiKu wetland is 3.655, and the weighted score is 3.6616 . According to the results, we put forward a suggestion of “ChiKu wetland community” and “ChiKu wetland bus one-day tour” . Except that can achieve the goal of the sustainable development of ecotourism of ChiKu wetland.
