Abstract |
The psychological capital, which can promote personal growth and improve personal performance, is a key factor of competitive advantage for organizational employees. Furthermore, leadership is an influential factor of employee’s performance. The transformational leadership will encourage employees to achieve goals and help to build psychological capital. High psychological capital can bring high affective commitment and performance. This study collects 288 valid questionnaire s and explores the relationship among transformational leadership, affective commitment, performance and psychological capital. The results show that: 1. transformational leadership is positively related to affective commitment; 2. transformational leadership is positively related to performance; 3. transformational leadership is positively related to psychological capital; 4. psychological capital is positively related to affective commitment; 5. psychological capital is positively related to performance; 6. psychological capital has partial mediating effect on the relationship between transformational leadership and affective commitment; 7. psychological capital has complete mediating effect on the relationship between transformational leadership and performance. |
