  • Abstract This thesis presents the design and implementation of a power converter for renewable energy power system. The proposed power converter uses the DC/AC architecture , and the DC/AC converter is used to convert the 400VDC to get three phase AC output, whose line voltage and frequency are 220V and 60 Hz. A microcontroller unit (TMS32F28035) is used to control the system for reducing the circuit complexity and the system using different controller can be operated in a grid connected mode or stand-alone mode. A prototype of 385W power conversion system is developed under stand-alone and grid-connected operation , separately. The AC output for stand-alone operation, whose line voltage and frequency are 220V and 60 Hz. The system can feed power to the grid for grid-connected operation. Finally´╝îexperiments are given to justify the feasibility of system design.
