  • Abstract In Dr. Campbell's forty-some-year research, vegan diet will be better than medical treatment for our health. Common Chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, cancer, cataract, arthritis and AD can be well prevented by vegan diet. From 1970s, root crops for the poor are less than for the livestock, and the meat can only be afforded by the few rich. In the ecological system, animals belong to consumers, their growth will consume more energy than the growth of grains. The amount of grain producing one pound beef can supply 32 people a day. Vegan diet is a good way to solve the food crisis.

Global Warming and extreme climate causes severe floods and droughts more frequently. Livestock, remote supply of meats causes water pollution and land subsidence. We should think it over in order to decelerate the threat of global warming. The Global population has reached to 7 billion on October 31, 2011. According to the estimation of UN that the birth rates of about two children per second, and the bulk of the population growth will continue, and the purveyance will soon can't afford for the global population. Therefore, we can't wait for changing our diet habits. Vegan diet will make the earth environmentally friendly in the future.
