  • Abstract This thesis adopts a grid-connected excited synchronous wind power generator system. This system uses coupling to connect excited synchronous generator and servo motor in a coaxial framework, and realizes position control of the system rotation axis. This thesis also proposes Power Factor Correction Strategy during grid connected. We can calaulate the phase of generator voltage from steady servo motor encoder signal. Along with the phase of generator current, we are able to control it to track the phase of grid. Therefore, power quality can be improved.
    The system also uses Microsoft Visual c# and SQL to program a Supervisory Control System. Communication interface between the system and microcontroller is RS485, which is in asynchronous serial mode. Supervisory Control System includes following functions. Status Confirmation confirms system status before system starts up. Parameter Setting sets parameters of control strategies in the generators. Numeric Monitoring supervises every voltage, current and power. Graphical monitoring presents graphes of important values by using build-in oscilloscopes. Motor monitoring in charge of communication with motor drivers.
    Based on vast data stored by Supervisory Control System, we use Big data Analysis System to evaluate condition of generators, and analyze power quality by graphical approach.
