  • Abstract This thesis adopts a grid-connected excited synchronous wind power generator system. This system uses coupling to connect the wind power, excited synchronous generator, and servo motor in a coaxial framework, and realizes position control of the system rotation axis. This thesis also proposes a power factor correction control strategy and uses the servo motor rotor to control the current of generator to track the frequency and phase of grid right after the connection between the system and the grid. In this way, we can connect the system output to the grid directly without the consumption of the power converter, and simplify the framework and enhance system efficiency. Furthermore, the system startup and shutdown control strategy is proposed to reduce servo motor output in startup and shutdown duration to achieve the goal of converting the wind energy into electrical energy by using Maximum Power Tracking Control.
