||The Relationships between Organizational Socialization Tactics and Organizational Socialization Contents：A Case Study of Firefighter Newcomers|

||In recent years, helping newcomers to adjust to new position become a hot issue in the world. From literature, we can find out that the organizational socialization tactics are the resolutions to the issue, and are divided into six categories. In our nation, there are few literatures about the organizational socialization tactics used by government. Our study is to explore the relationships between organizational socialization tactics and organizational socialization contents. We interview those newcomers of fire bureau in Taiwan and review the literature to find the connection. After decoding the interview, we find out the common used organizational socialization tactics and the organizational socialization contents of fire bureau in Taiwan. Furthermore, we conduct survey and use statistics software to analyze the data. |
We collected 216 effective samples. The result shows that part of the organizational socialization tactics have positive effect on the organizational socialization contents. The serial tactics, divestiture tactics and individuals tactics have positive effects on the newcomers’ socialization contents. However, the informal tactics, the sequential tactics and fixed tactics have no significant effect on the newcomers’ socialization contents.
According the research results, the conclusions and suggestions of the study will be provided as a reference for further study.
