  • Abstract This thesis proposes the direct grid-connected excited synchronous wind power system by using traditional excited synchronous generator connected to a servo motor in coaxial framework. Because the excited synchronous generator doesn’t need power converter, it can operate in high voltage and reliability can be improved.
    The servo motor adjusted the frequency and the phase of the generator output to achieve the condition of grid connection, correcting the power factor during grid connected. However, the servo motor hardly consumes power. When grid is connected, the servo motor offers power to promote generator output. Besides, this thesis proposes auto parameter calibration, correcting parameter by the firmware, eliminating the unnecessary procedure. Through the control strategy, the system can convert the wind power to electrical power efficiently.
