  • Abstract A direct ortho-Arylation of 1-methyl-N-phenyl-1H-indole-3-carboxamide via Carbon-Hydride Bond Activation. In the reaction, Palladium(II) trifluoroacetate, Copper(II) acetate, Potassium phosphate, Pivalic acid, and DMF:1,4-Dioxane=1/9 were used as the catalyst, oxidant, base, and solvent. The synthetic methodology serves good functional group compatibility.
