||Due to the unique characteristics of the construction industry, feasibility assessment, planning, design, tendering, work execution, acceptance and takeover will be involved during the entire process of a Project Life Cycle. Further, a longer cycle and intrinsic job delegation issues should also be handled during each operating stage. Currently, manpower is employed in handling the documentation of construction projects in local markets. However, a referencing review would be difficult and even lead to the problem of missing documents without effective management. In this research, the Target Firm is also facing similar problems where the Project Life Cycle should be based on management of the drawings and documents required for each stage. |
Main purposes of the research:
1. Study a Project Life Cycle that will be suitable for the Target Firm.
2. Study the construction-related documents prepared according to the Project Life Cycle.
3. Develop a system prototype to simulate the Project Life Cycle documentation through information technology.
