“Cram school”, a common phenomenon in Taiwan, steady became a kind of trend now. Numbers of cram schools grew up dramatically in the past decade. The courses provided are also more and more diverse, especially on human resources of government officers. It enhances the continuously growth of students and tutors’ numbers of cram school education and the real revenue. For deeply understand the effect of cram education for the government-officer-exams’ sake, we select one officers’ cram school in Kaohsiung as base to analyze by logistic regression. We also control the variables of preparation time, school categories, genders, cities, cram schools’ categories, and check if it is a guarantee class which provides higher quality. Overall, we found that variables of preparation time, school categories and genders have notable influences of the officers’ admission rate. Additionally, the students came from national school also influence it, because of the differences of usable education sources between national universities or private ones. In addition, by researching 10 candidates who passed the exams, we can find out that their feelings toward Chinese, English, or some other basic subjects will help their future career. Other subjects, such as Introduction of Law, Criminal Law, are also regarded as important subjects of basic science. In the meanwhile, the result of the interview provided this research a great reflection, that is, we can give the suggestion to the subject of administration through it. Finally, by documents overviewed, we knew that cram schools’ education still has its necessity to exist, although there are two opposite points of view. But, we can also see this industry leaving room for improvement. |
