||In response to the innovative service models and industry revolution brought by Cloud Computing, governments enthusiastically embrace Cloud and roll out Cloud information related policies. Taiwan Government yields to none, hence Ministries consecutively launch Cloud platforms after public policy evaluation. This research is based on Financial Cloud, studying how Ministry of Finance schemed the Financial Service Cloud conforming to the cloud computing definition of NIST (National Institute of Standard and Technology, USA). By means of consolidating all subsidiaries’ huge financial data and using big data analytic technologies, it extracts valuable economic information for national policy decision-making references. |
Facing these new demand drivers, Government leverages Financial Service Cloud to provide one-stop consolidated and people-felt mobility services as well as diverse financial information. Moreover, the implementation of Financial Service Cloud would drive business opportunities of Taiwan ICT industry. Government can take the opportunity of Financial Service Cloud project to let ICT companies cumulate practical experience on planning and deployment then advance technical capabilities, and train up comprehensive cloud software-and-hardware solution experts to avoid technical debt caused by the immature technology due to the lack of practical experience, furthermore, to duplicate these experience and technology abroad.
This study carried out a risk assessment on the Finance cloud strategies. The Graduate analyzed the expected benefits of Financial Service Cloud on the basis of the thorough interview with the Chairman of the Financial Service Cloud project, Su Tsun Rau, Director of Fiscal Information Agency. Finance cloud strategies not only can simplify and promote governmental operation efficiency, but also can enhance international competitiveness of the ICT industry and create people-felt convenience services. At the same time, leveraging the Industrial-Academic Cooperation Projects to promote the support of our students by way of Education-Assisting-Government and Government-Assisting-Education.
