  • Abstract The study aims to understand challenges that micro startups encountered during the entrepreneurial process within different industries and different stages, and adopts the structure of project management framework to build a micro startup sharing platform based on project management, and let micro startups discuss and interact with each other referring to challenges encountered.
    In this study, the author conducted literature review and case interview, the author have interviewed 8 micro startup owners from different industries, and the result shows that business owners from different industries have experienced same problems with certain critical knowledge areas and sub-process, but business owners within different stages have experienced problems referring to different knowledge areas and sub-process. The result of the study revealed the pain point of actual management of micro startups. The study further focused on the design of micro startup sharing platform on critical knowledge areas and sub-process to meet the demand of business owners, and help business owners manage and run micro businesses efficiently.
