||The present paper is a business plan for a start-up of a wakeboarding company. The main purpose of this study is to proof the feasibility of the new venture in the southern Taiwan. Market analysis, financial planning, and marketing strategic planning were used, to better illustrate the feasibility of this new venture study.|
The brief introduction, history of wakeboarding, its development, and the current situation, is given in the first chapter. Taiwan can be considered as one of the best places for performing this watersport. To prove this, a market analysis is introduced in the second chapter. The climate and people’s attitude towards sports were researched. The watersport is most preferred in southern Taiwan, as it has the shortest winter period and the least precipitation’s level. According to the survey made by Sport Administration, Ministry of Education, the people of southern Taiwan tend to be more active and care more about their health and body. In the third chapter, the company’s structure, management organization, and financial projections are shown.
The researching results support the feasibility of the wakeboarding company in Southern Taiwan. Even in a pessimistic projection, the new venture proved to be profitable in long-term period.
