  • Abstract This study is a practical application-oriented research. The aim of this research is to analyze the job requirement and to clarify job authority, content, responsibility and the qualification of the relevant staff in order to provide the complete job description for each position based on the job analysis. Also, this study identified the talent development mechanism in traditional wood industry and also to assisted company F to set up its talent development mechanism to solve out the current problems of human resource management and further develop future management talents to support the talents requirement for future business expansion. The two main purposes of this study are:
    1. To set up the job description of company F on the job analysis regarded as the base for the development of any activities of human resources management
    2. To plan the talent development mechanism and its assorted systems so as to provide solution for talent issue in Focus Lumber Berhad.
