                 ABSTRACT
       The purpose of this research was to explore a study on the relationship among social support,emotional management and classroom management effectiveness of junior high school teachers in Kaohsiung , 570 valid questionaires were collected and analyzed with descriptive statistics,t-test,one-way ANOVA,Pearson’s correlation and hierarchical regression.
       The main findings of the study were as follows:
    1. In general, social support,emotional management and classroom management effectiveness of junior high school teachersvaried when their demographical traits differed (gender,age,marital status,working years and education background).Social support,emotional management and classroom management effectiveness of junior high school teachers in Kaohsiung exhibited significantly positive correlation.
    2. Teacher’ social support and emotional management could predict their classroom management effectiveness.Teacher’ emotional management could partially mediate the relationship between their social support and classroom management effectiveness.
