||Recently the industry of industrial personal computer has gained its importance followed by the emergence of the Internet of Things. Advantech has been the leader in IPC industry all around the world. Nevertheless, its competitive rival, Ennoconn, is growing so fast that its CAGR went up to 67.2% from 2013 to 2016. Ennoconn’s revenue is catching up with Advantech’s.|
The research purpose of this thesis is 〝How does Ennoconn’s revenue grow aggressively ?, How does its operational strategy different from others’ ?〞.
Besides, the research makes a thorough analysis of IPC industry in Taiwan based on Porter’s five forces, and Ennoconn’s strategic operational model in accordance with theories, i.e., strategic positioning, business model, resource-based view, competitive advantages, and SWOT analysis, before making a proposal of business strategy for the IPC industry and Ennoconn.
