  • Abstract Increasing pressure of environmental protection and forthcoming shortage of the conventional energy sources have called for the development of green energy power system. In view of the importance and practicality of green energy, this thesis presents the implementation of a power converter for green energy power system. The proposed power converter uses the AC/DC/AC architecture and operates in the stand-alone mode using voltage-control for stabilizing output voltage. A digital signal processor (TMS320F28035) is used to serve as the core control device to implement a 387W protype power conversion system. Finally, experiments are given to justfy the feasibility of system design.
