Job search factor
||The average wage in Taiwan has remained unchanged in the past ten years, which means the real average wage actually decreased over the years. To maintain the same quality of life mandates extra income, and thus many people are willing to take on an extra part time job, in addition to their regular work. However, according to our interviews, many admit that they have yet taken any action in their job search. This research aim to find out some of the factors resulting in this phenomena of passiveness in the prospective labor force and subsequently design a new part-time job search platform to solve this problem with the employment market.|
The research proposes to combine tradition job search platform with ideas from the recently popular sharing economy and collaborative consumption.
This research first conducts a survey of potential jobseekers and careful analyses and assess their concerns and opinions. The research then follows the design science methodology by incorporating observations from the survey and ideas from relevant literatures and creates a new employment platform prototype for part time work.
