||This study aimed to explore the relationship between elementary school principals’ positive leadership and teachers’ organizational commitment in Kaohsiung city.|
This research adopts the investigation method of the questionnaire. This research is enforced in the 1st semester of 2016 academic year by inquiring 598 teachers that belong to 242 municipal elementary schools in Kaohsiung city to be our population. The quantity of the valid questionnaire is 583. The rate of recovery of the valid questionnaire is 97.49%. The surveying tools of this research include"The questionnaire of the principals' positive leadership"and "The questionnaire of teachers' organizational commitment"。
The effective samplings are analyzed by t-test ﹐One-way Analysis of Variance﹐Pearson Product-moment Correlation﹐and Multiple Regression.
The conclusions are listed as follows：
1.The existing condition of municipal elementary school teachers' Consciousness at
elementary school principals’positive leadership is good.
Among them , positive atmosphere was the highest.
2.The existing condition of municipal elementary school teachers' Consciousness at
teachers' organizational commitment is good . Among them,"The aspiration of
exertion "was the highest. Except being under the following backgrounds, the
consciousness of teachers shows the differences.The Consciousness of elementary
school teachers between "The principals' positive leadership" and "The teachers'
organizational commitment"have not been showing the difference.
(1)When the school size is under 6 classes than the other size ,the elementary school
teachers have higher intensity consciousness that include" the whole positive leadership", "positive atmosphere", "positive communication","positive meaning".
(2)The elementary school teachers have higher intensity consciousness on"deligient
will", when their duty is "as a director" more than is"as a class guide",
(3)The elementary school teachers have higher intensity consciousness on"organizational commitment", when their school is "under 6 classes" or "more than 48 classses ".
(4)No matter which size of school, teacher's consciousness on the diligent will has not
been showing the difference.
4.It shows high relationship between"The principals' positive leadership" and "The
teaches' organizational commitment". When the principals have more intensity on positive leadership , the behavior of teacher's organizational commitment will get higher.
5. The principal's leadership has forecast effects on"the teachers' organizational
commitment" .Among them, "the principals’ positive atmosphere" has the most
