  • Abstract The study explores how coaching behaviors may influence an athlete‚Äôs future performance in the delegations of Kaohsiung elementary schools. In the past, many researches in athletic psychology and exercise aspects showed that CBAS (Coaching Behavior Assessment System) had been one of the most popular measuring tools for coaching behaviors. The research purpose is that system indicates if coaching feedback meets with good acceptance from players, who will show better performances from then on. The study method is through the interviews and questionnaires to investigate what strategies of feedback can be used by coaches in elementary school during badminton competitions. The categories of feedback as follows: (1) Positive guidance, (2) Negative guidance, (3) Physical skills, (4) Tactics guidance, (5) Psychological guidance. The results are analyzed to make formal questionnaire. The research conclusion is as follows: (1) Positive guidance: The acceptance of female is better the male. The positive encourage meets the requirement.(2) Negative guidance: The result is just the opposite. The severe feedback and guidance meets the requirement.
