本研究希望瞭解英語學習環境對英語學習動機之影響,以及英語學習動機對教育訓練滿意度的影響,另外,也希望能探討英語學習環境是否會透過英語學習動機之中介效果,進一步影響教育訓練滿意度。此外,本研究中也將討論工作壓力是否能干擾英語學習環境與英語學習動機兩者變數之間的關係。
至於,本次研究對象主要探討有在實施英語學習相關課程的企業,包括製造業、金融及保險業、資訊及通訊傳播業等知識較密集、人數規模較高之企業。本研究問卷共發出528份問卷,以電子問卷方式進行發放。最後有效回收問卷共計256份,最後,實質有效樣本的回收率為46.6%。最終,本文主要採層級迴歸分析(Hierarchical Regression Analysis)來驗證本文各項研究假說。經由統計軟體進行實證分析後,可得到下列結果:
(一) 英語學習環境對於英語學習動機有正向顯著影響。
(二) 英語學習動機對於教育訓練滿意度有正向顯著影響。
(三) 英語學習動機在英語學習環境與教育訓練滿意度之間,具部份中介效果。
(四) 工作壓力在英語學習環境與英語學習動機兩者之間,具負向干擾效果。
另外,在實證研究後,本文主要得出以下貢獻。首先,本文係第一篇探討企業英語學習環境、英語學習動機與教育訓練滿意度三者關係之研究,其次,算是少數研究中,探討英語學習動機此變數之中介效果;最後,本文亦作為探討工作壓力是否會干擾英語學習環境與英語學習動機之先驅。綜合以上所述,各項實證結果,將作為學術界、企業界之各項參考依據,並提供後代學者進行下一階段的研究。
Abstract
The research is designed to examine how English learning environment influences English learning motivation and also understand the relationship between English learning motivation and training satisfaction. Moreover, we want to investigate the mediating effect of English learning motivation and the moderating role of job stress.
We selects the companies which plans different English courses or facilities as survey samples, such as higher level of knowledge-intensive and far more employees’ companies. We sent 528 E-questionnaires. Finally, a total of 256 valid questionnaires were returned and the response rate was 46.6%. After collecting multi-sources data, we use the method of the hierarchical regression analysis to check these hypotheses.
Based on the outcomes, we found the different findings, which can be summarized as following. First, the positive relationship between English learning environment and English learning motivation is true. Second, English learning motivation is positively related with training satisfaction. Third, English learning motivation play the role of mediated effect. Forth, job stress negatively moderates the effect both of English learning environment and English learning motivation.
This is the first research provided empirical evidences about cause-effect of English learning environment, English learning motivation, and training satisfaction. Besides, the study examines the English learning motivation mediating effect. Finally, it’s also the first empirical study to demonstrate the job stress has a moderating effect. As a whole, these findings can make contributions to the academic research and practical implications.
