本研究中，我們通過發放網路問卷的方式，利用SPSS統計軟體進行實證分析。來評估當代台灣大學生在戀愛交往階段對個人忠誠特徵、身體條件、物質條件和社會條件的偏好程度。同時也會驗證Gale and Shapley(1962)實驗中的單身男女理性配對現象在現實生活中是否普遍。最主要的是通過羅吉斯迴歸分析，來探求台灣大學生在和前任伴侶和現任伴侶戀愛交往過程中，有哪些因素會影響受訪者精神出軌的可能性。
通過羅吉斯迴歸分析研究發現，在受訪者和前任伴侶交往的過程中，「性別」、「前任不忠誠」和「個人忠誠價值觀」會顯著影響受訪者和前任伴侶交往過程中出現精神出軌的可能性。在受訪者和現任伴侶交往的過程中，「交往時間」和「個人忠誠價值觀」會顯著影響受訪者和現任伴侶交往過程中出現精神出軌的可能性。

In this study, online questionnaires were used to conduct empirical study of statistical software SPSS to understand Taiwan college students’ attitudes and opinions toward the preference of individual loyalty characteristics, physical qualifications, income condition and social factors in the love relationship. It will also verify whether the Stable matchings theory of single men and women in Gale and Shapley (1962) experiment is common in real life. The most important is to explore what factors affect the possibility of emotional infidelity of Taiwan college students in their love relationship with former and current partners through the logistic regression analysis.
The "gender", " ex-partners’ infidelity", and "personal loyalty values" significantly influenced the “emotional infidelity possibility” during their relationship with their ex-partners. The "relationship time" and "personal loyalty values" significantly influenced the “emotional infidelity possibility” during their relationship with their current partners.
