本研究主要利用Silver-Meal和Least Unit Cost (LUC)二種批量訂購法結合物料需求計劃(MRP),對紙器公司8年數據進行研究,探討企業在面臨需求變化、產品多樣性和定制需求增加等問題時,最適合企業訂購原料及庫存的方法。
研究結論指出,兩種方法均能有效提升庫存管理效率,LUC方法在總持有成本和進貨次數方面的優勢較為顯著。本研究特別強調了中小企業在資金有限的情況下,利用Excel這一簡易且低成本的數位化工具,實現數據準確性和庫存管理的自動化。
本研究的結果不僅在理論上證明了先進庫存管理算法和數位轉型的有效性,還在實踐中提供了具體的應用指導。這些研究發現將有助於中小企業改善庫存管理策略,降低運營成本,增強市場競爭力。
Abstract
The background of this study is a company engaged in the manufacturing and outsourcing services of paper boxes, covering customized products and outsourcing orders. Due to limited human resources, product diversity, and demand uncertainty, the company faces challenges in production efficiency. Traditional inventory management methods are ineffective in meeting their needs. Therefore, this study aims to explore new methods and technologies to improve inventory management efficiency and reduce costs.
This research primarily utilizes two batch ordering methods, Silver-Meal and Least Unit Cost (LUC), combined with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to study eight years of data from the paper box company. It investigates the optimal methods for ordering raw materials and managing inventory when facing issues such as demand fluctuations, product diversity, and increased customization needs.
The study concludes that both methods can effectively enhance inventory management efficiency, with the LUC method showing significant advantages in total holding costs and order frequency. This study particularly emphasizes the use of Excel, a simple and low-cost digital tool, to achieve data accuracy and inventory management automation, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises with limited funds.
The results of this study not only theoretically demonstrate the effectiveness of advanced inventory management algorithms and digital transformation but also provide specific application guidance in practice. These findings will help small and medium-sized enterprises improve their inventory management strategies, reduce operating costs, and enhance market competitiveness.
