本研究主要目的為深入了解我國環保產業之產業現況與趨勢，透過資源基礎理論與企業競爭優勢理論，進行整體產業與個案之分析，探討此產業最重要之關鍵核心能力，提供台灣環保產業業者進行相關營運規畫之建議與參考。研究過程以相關文獻及產業現況，整理出我國環保產業的影響因素，以此作為重要因子進行問卷設計，透過問卷調查及深入訪談彙整分析，本研究得出以下幾項結論：
一、 確認我國環保產業廠商經營所需具備之資源優勢。
二、 探究我國環保產業競爭之關鍵因素。
三、 找出我國環保產業競爭策略所需掌控之核心能力。

The main purpose of this study is to deeply understand the current status and trends of Taiwan's environmental protection industry. In addition, this study explore the entire industry and case analysis through resource-based theory and competitive advantage theory. The most important key core capabilities of this industry are explored the suggestions and references for related operating plans. The study process sorted out the influencing factors of Taiwan's environmental protection industry based on relevant literature and industry status, and used this as an important factor to design a questionnaire. Summary analysis through questionnaires and in-depth interviews, following conclusions were made from the study :
1. Confirm the resource advantages required for Taiwan's environmental protection industry operations.
2. Exploring the Key Factors of Competition in Taiwan's Environmental Protection Industry.
3. Find out the core capabilities needed for Taiwan's environmental protection industry competition strategy.
