摘　要

本研究旨在探討作業基礎成本制(Activity-Base Costing; ABC)應用於中華郵政公司之可行性，由於中華郵政公司面臨日益競爭的市場環境及各項法令限制，使成本的控制更顯重要，因此，希望藉由對郵局業務的實地探討，瞭解主要作業及成本動因，就其所提供的各項服務，分析實際耗所用的成本，提供郵政公司一套合理可行的成本制度。
本研究內容，在文獻探討方面，一方面說明作業基礎成本制模式外，另一方面亦探討傳統成本制度的限制。在郵政公司方面，除介紹背景及組織架構外，並描述其經營環境及發展趨勢。個案研究方面，依據ABC的步驟，逐步將資源成本歸屬至各項產出。
經過驗證作業基礎成本制在郵政公司的適用性後，得出以下結論：
一、 中華郵政公司適用於作業基礎成本制。
二、 作業基礎成本制提供管理當局較為客觀的成本資訊。
三、 減少交易作業時間為降低業務成本的主要方式。
四、 作業基礎成本制可使員工了解成本發生的原因，進而增進對成本的控制。

Abstract

The gist of the paper is to discuss the application of activity-based costing to ChungHwa Post Co., Led .With the more and more competitive business environent, it is an indispensable key element for the authorities of post office to control cost. As a result, with the hope that probe into the occupational activities of post office practically in order to realize the main activities and cost drivers of post office.
This paper includes as follows:
In literature review aside, first, describe the model of ABC. After that, argue the questions of conventional cost accounting system. Then, introduce ChungHwa Post Co., Led. including it’s background, organization ,product etc. In the case study, according to the steps of ABC, get resource costs attribute to products.
After examine the feasibility of ABC apply to post office, there are four conclusions:
1. ABC is suitable to ChungHwa Post Co., Led.
2. ABC gives objective cost information to the authorities of management in order to make decision of price.
3. Reduce the time of the deals, it will be the best way to decrease the cost of occupational activities.
4. ABC enable to grasp the main reason of cost occurs for staff.
