台灣天然資源缺乏，其中金屬類原物料，除依賴進口外，循環利用也成了改善資源有限問題的方法之一，而廢五金回收產業也因應而生，經過數十年發展，台灣廢五金產業如今已建立了完整的供銷鏈，而北、中、南也個別發展出實力雄厚的廢鐵回收公司，也演化出個別的經營策略，尤其是與上游供應商之間的關係互動及發展，更攸關廢鐵來源供應穩定與否之關鍵。
爰此，本論文擬以台灣南部頗負盛名廢鐵回收公司X公司作為個案研究，從其經營接棒過程中，以產業分析、SWOT分析及供應商管理等，藉由個案研究方法，進行上游供應商之深度訪談，分析X公司與上游供應商間之關係經營，探討其經營策略並提供運營策略之建議，以協助X公司進行有效的供應鏈管理，提高競爭力，以達成企業永續經營之目的。

Taiwan is a country with extremely scarce natural resources. In addition to relying on imports, recycling of metal materials has become one of the ways to improve resource constraints. The waste metal recycling industry has also been born. After decades of development, Taiwan The scrap hardware industry has now established a complete supply chain, while the North, Central and South have also developed strong scrap iron recycling companies, and have evolved individual business strategies, especially the interaction with upstream suppliers. Development is more critical to the stability of the supply of scrap iron sources.
Therefore, this thesis intends to use the company X, a well-known scrap iron recycling company in southern Taiwan, as a case study. From the process of its business, it uses the case study method to carry out the upstream process with Industry analysis, SWOT, and Supplier management. Through the in-depth interviews with suppliers to analyze the relationship between X company and upstream suppliers, to explore their business strategies and give operational strategy recommendations, in order to help case company to integrate more complete and improve competitiveness in the entire supply chain management, and Successfully achieved the purpose of sustainable business.
