目前電子化支付競爭非常激烈，而且由於台灣的環境特殊，現金的使用上非常方便，企業除了在面對同業的競爭外，還必須創造更方便的支付環境，以吸引使用者習慣於使用電子化支付進而取代現金的使用。為降低企業營運成本並提升規模經濟效益，國內電子支付業逐漸開始合併。然而，電子商務企業合併所可能帶來的內部衝擊影響及成功合併要素，尚未被廣泛討論。
本研究以藍新金融事業群為例，探討在面對激烈的競爭之下，企業採取合併的方式，在面對激烈的產業競爭，所取得的成果。以及在合併的過程中對於資訊系統的整合與規劃、面臨到的困難與採取的各式方案進行分析與研究，在企業合併前原有之經營策略模式、組織結構、人事管理政策皆不盡相同下，如何解決合併後企業整合過程可能產生的問題。
研究主要發現：企業購併在進行合併前的初期階段，若無法完全了解資訊系統的實際狀況，將會在實際進行系統整合時產生執行落差，而必須仰賴技術部門額外開發不同的整合系統來達成資訊系統合併。在人員管理的部份，會因為資深的人員離職造成合併時程上的影響。

Electronic payment has become one of the important global trend. Due to the keen competition and particular consuming behavior in Taiwan, it is critical to develop a convenient environment to attract more customers to use electronic payment in daily life. For the purpose of lowing operational cost and increasing economies of scale effect, merging E-commerce companies has become a new trend; however, the internal impacts and successful factors of merging are rarely discussed.
This study uses the merging experience between Neweb Financial Group and ezPay as a case study. A variety of merging issues such as the integration and planning of the different information system, different business strategy models, different organizational structure, and different personnel management policies are discovered and analyzed first. Second, possible solutions for solving the merging problems and system integration are discussed and provided.
This study finds that fully understand the actual status of both information systems in the early stage of merger and acquisition is important to avoid the additional cost from developing extra systems to achieve information system consolidation. Also, the merger schedule will be seriously affected by the resignation of senior personnel.
