本研究主要分析越南及印尼之紡織與服裝業對前五大出口國美國、中國、日本、韓國與德國的比較競爭優勢與貿易吸引力，研究時間為2005-2015。根據顯示性比較利益指數（RCA）分析發現，越南在美國、中國、日本及韓國四國的出口數據與顯示性比較利益指數（RCA）表現都較印尼來的佳，而印尼僅在德國的顯示性比較利益指數（RCA）勝過越南。從貿易引力模型的結果來看，僅進口國的GDP及自由貿易協定（FTA）對越南紡織服裝出口貿易額有顯著正面效益；然而，從印尼的角度來看，進口國GDP、出口國GDP、出口國人均GDP及自由貿易協定（FTA）對印尼紡織服裝出口貿易額均有顯著正向效益。另外，兩國之間的距離對印尼及越南均有顯著負面影響。整體而言，越南紡織服裝貿易出口額雖高，但紡織業發展較早、且原料較少，未來發展潛力較為有限；印尼在人口及原料的優勢之下，未來的紡織服裝出口發展較具潛力。論文最後討論了研究結果的理論與實務意涵。

This study analyzes the current status of export trade in Vietnam and Indonesia, as well as the competition status of the textile and garment industry in the United States, China, Japan, South Korea and Germany, the top five exporting countries of the two countries. The research time is 2005-2015. The Display Revealed Comparative Advantage Index (RCA) found that in the five major exporting countries: the United States, China, Japan, South Korea, and Germany, Vietnam's export data and Revealed Comparative Advantage Index (RCA) in the United States, China, Japan, and South Korea. The performance is better than that of Indonesia, and Indonesia's RCA is better than Vietnam's. Judging from the results of the Gravity Model of Trade, only the importing country's GDP and the free trade agreement (FTA) have a significant positive effect on Vietnam's textile and clothing export trade; Indonesia's view is that the importing country's GDP, the exporting country's GDP, and the exporting country's per capita GDP The free trade agreement (FTA) has a significant positive effect on Indonesia's textile and apparel export trade, and the distance between the two countries has a significant negative impact on Indonesia and Vietnam. On the whole, Vietnam's textiles and clothing and apparel trade exports are high, but the textiles and clothing industry develops earlier, and there are fewer raw materials, and the future development potential is limited. Indonesia's export and textiles and clothing raw materials will have better development in the future.
